The Jimmy Carroll Foundation was formed to build on the legacy of Jimmy Carroll.

Jimmy lived out God’s love and justice by identifying and engaging with people in the margins. His heart was broken by the apathy and indifference shown toward these individuals, by both Christians and the community at large. He believed that God sees the overlooked and He cares (Genesis 16:13) and that His mission was bringing ALL men and women to Him.

He also believed that the responsibility to carry out that mission sits in the lap of those who have been the recipients of His grace and mercy, His followers. JCF exists to live out the mission of God and practically display love and justice to those who are often overlooked and marginalized.

JCF will partner with organizations that focus on often overlooked and marginalized people in Raleigh and greater Wake County that are recognizing social disparities and are meeting practical needs. These needs could include, but are not limited to, food insecurity, human trafficking, long term illness, homelessness, clothing, education, employment sustainability, and mental health. JCF partners will disperse these practical gifts with dignity and care, valuing each individual as God’s masterpiece. These partnerships will be through funding, goods, and volunteer time.

“But at the end of the day, you trust. Just keep trusting Him. Keep holding on. Keep believing by faith, and keep trusting Him.”

- Jimmy Carroll

Jimmy Carroll was an extraordinary man and pastor, taken much too soon. His life was far shorter than we ever expected, but we, at the Foundation, resolve to keep his vision alive. We will work tirelessly to ensure that Jimmy’s life will not be marked by its duration, but by its content and far-reaching impact. His legacy will endure, his vision will continue, and his life’s work will live on in our archives, and in all who will be touched because of his remarkable life.
