An Update from our Executive Director, Jennifer Hamilton

I have officially hit the six-month mark as the Executive Director of the Jimmy Carroll Foundation and, as the expression goes, “Time flies when you are having fun!” It has truly been an honor to be part of this mission, to connect with other incredible nonprofit organizations, and to make connections that will further allow us to display love and justice. We recently held our Inaugural Golf Tournament and raised more support than we previously anticipated! The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to making next year’s tournament even better.

As an organization, we desire that our partnerships remain immersive and strong. We are seeking quality over quantity and will be deeply invested in a handful of nonprofits that emphatically live out JCF’s values of visibility, acknowledgment, longevity, dignity, equality, and open-mindedness. We invite you to continue to follow along with us as we live this out!

JCF Inaugural Golf Tournament - Update

We are thrilled to share that the Inaugural Jimmy Carroll Foundation Golf Tournament raised $14,469.28! All funds raised will support JCF’s mission to tangibly display love and justice to those who are often overlooked and marginalized. JCF’s Mission

Our mission is a direct reflection of the life Jimmy Carroll lived. Jimmy lived out God’s love and justice by identifying and engaging with people in the margins. His heart was broken by the apathy and indifference shown toward these individuals, by both Christians and the community at large. He believed that God sees the overlooked and He cares and that His mission was bringing ALL men and women to Him.

Partner Spotlight - The H.O.P.E. Center

Thanks to your continued support, JCF was recently able to sponsor a new website for The H.O.P.E. Center. The H.O.P.E. Center serves women who are seeking healing, restoration, and a second chance at a stable life. We are thrilled to help The H.O.P.E. Center further its mission and reach more women who are experiencing trauma.

JCF Values & Priorities in Action: Visibility

Pediatric patients greatly rely on their caregivers. They are a vital part of the care process and can often feel overlooked. JCF has worked to make sure they feel noticed, affirmed, and appreciated by providing each of them with their choice of a delicious boxed lunch from GRUB Durham as a part of PTCT’s community meal program. Additionally, JCF knows how much caregivers rely on coffee and we shared an Easter treat for each of them that included a Starbucks gift card.
