Ship Community Outreach: The Jimmy Carroll House

In August, we were honored to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for The Jimmy Carroll House, the Ship Outreach apartment complex that supports unhoused individuals. Through Ship, Jimmy's legacy lives on by providing a safe space for individuals who need a home and a fresh start. A true example of JCF's mission.

A Place at the Table: Food Truck Launch

We are so THRILLED for our partner, A Place at the Table Raleigh, and the recent launch of their NEW FOOD TRUCK: The Travelin’ Table!

JCF was a proud sponsor of this project, and you can see our JCF logo right on this beautiful truck. Thank you to all who supported this work by donating during our JCF Annual Golf Tournament in April!

Duke PTCT: Superhero Day

Ka-POW! We recently had the chance to visit patients, hand out superhero accessories, and play superhero bingo with our friends at Duke PTCT. After all the fun and games, we provided lunch from Guasaca to caregivers and nursing staff. Our Superhero Spirit Day was part of the celebration of their Rainbow of Heroes event on September 28th.

Families Together: Back-to-School Drive

Thank you to everyone who supported our Back-to-School Drive with Families Together! Their End-of-Summer Party on August 15th was so much fun, and we were thrilled to see such tremendous support for the kids in our community.

Urban Ministries: Helen Wright Center Dinner

JCF had a wonderful time serving community dinner at the Helen Wright Center on August 13th! The HWC is a low-barrier emergency shelter that offers safe shelter and provides for the basic needs of single women experiencing homelessness. Thank you to the volunteers who came out to help and make an impact in our city.
